SkinSync software knows how to talk to low cost customizable 7" touch screens that you can get on Amazon or directly from Elecrow. The app loads touch screen control software onto the touch screen via USB and then you can setup WIFI or Bluetooth or put the device into BLE Keyboard mode so that it appears as a Bluetooth Keyboard to Windows!
SkinSync has a monitoring mode to listen to touch events via WIFI, USB, or Bluetooth and then forward that event to a local script such as a Python script or as calls to AutoHotKey. In BLE Keyboard mode you can send keystrokes or combinations of keystrokes so you can control Windows apps with easy to remember skins instead of memorizing key combinations.
SkinSync has a skin creation interface that allows you to import images that you want to use ask skins on the touch screens and then add hotspots and assign keystrokes or event commands to the hotspots. You then assign these skins to devices in Loadouts you create. Loadouts are configuration setups for one or several touch screens as a loadout group. You can configure a single skin or several skins to each device because skins can also act as menus that link to other skins! One touch screen can use skins to simulate an entire console of devices or you can plug in several touch screens each loaded with a different skin!
